Have you or your team members ever struggled to know what to say to a parent or grandparent who is having trouble managing a child in their care at your session? Perhaps you’ve wondered whether it’s your place to say anything at all? You might also wonder about the parenting styles of today and how they differ from when you brought up your own children. Join Jenny Hale, the author of Kind, Firm, Calm to discuss some scenarios you might encounter and how you can support, encourage and bless a parent when their child is demonstrating challenging behaviours.
What is a HUB?
It’s an on-line facilitated session. There’s one topic covered at a time, and everyone is encouraged to participate, sharing ideas and engaging with learning. A HUB is a membership benefit – there’s no additional cost to participate.
What will I need to participate?
You will need a computer or phone with a camera, sound and microphone so that you can see others who have joined, hear what is being said, and see resources that will be profiled.
You will immediately receive, as a download, the confirmation information. Put that detail in your calendar and save the download to a place where you can find it easily!
